Abbey Bank and Swarthmoor Junior Football Club Link Up
Swarthmoor Juniors has recently linked up with the Abbey bank under a new initiative launched by Abbey last year.
The initiative is based on the club passing mortgage enquiries to the local Barrow branch. If the person referred finds that they can get a better mortgage deal with Abbey than that with their existing Bank or Building Society, and moves their mortgage to Abbey (either new property purchase or Remortgage), the club will receive an introduction fee from the bank which will go to club funds.
Why would you want a quote from Abbey?
Quite simple! After passing your name and telephone number to the Club, one of Abbey’s Mortgage Advisers will phone you to see if Abbey can save you money on your present mortgage deal, either present or new mortgage deal. No cost, no obligation, just an opportunity to save money! Many of the mortgage deals offer a fee free move i.e. valuation fees and legal fees are paid for you. So, if Abbey can save you money, you will no doubt want to take advantage of the cost savings!
What’s in it for the Club?
If you move your mortgage to Abbey, the club will receive an introduction fee from Abbey. For example, if a £100,000 mortgage were switched over to Abbey, the club would receive £200. If a £200,000 mortgage completed, the club would receive £400. And so on.
What’s in it for my child/player?
While your child/player remains a member of Swarthmoor Juniors, the Club will set aside a portion of the introduction fee which can be used to cover the cost of the child's football kit, boots, Blackburn Rovers day etc.
Who do I pass my details to?
All the Club needs to know is your name, address, postcode, contact telephone number and the best time Abbey can contact you.
